HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS/CINEMATOGRAPHERS WILL BE AT OUR WEDDING DAY?

There will always be at least two photographers or cinematographers at your wedding unless you choose the elopement package or something smaller.

HOW DO YOU WORK THROUGHOUT THE DAY?

We believe the best moments in life are ones we least expect. The spontaneous, messy, imperfect moments. We have no problem giving you direction when needed but we like to capture things organically. Letting the day unfold as it was meant to be, messy moments and all.

DO YOU RECORD THE AUDIO FOR THE CEREMONY & SPEECHES?

We do not prefer to record the audio during the ceremony or the speeches, what is preferential is to have the bride and groom say their vows beforehand for two reasons. Number one being it ensures high quality audio for the video. The second reason being is we’ve found it really helps couples a lot to practice their vows before the ceremony. It’s not something many people think about, but many couples are saying their vows for the first time at the ceremony (especially the groom) and the extra reps with their videographer before hand seems to help tremendously. A pet peeve of ours is seeing the cord of the lavalier mic on the bride and groom when they look so good at the altar. We’d rather have the couple in the moment and not worrying about audio. For the speeches the audio can be recorded upon request, but the wedding day is about the bride and groom and we like to keep it focused on the couple and the vows.

HOW DO YOU INTERACT WITH THE PHOTOGRAPHER OR VIDEOGRAPHER?

We love working with other photographers and videographers since we shoot both.

DO YOU USE BRIGHT LIGHTS?

We want to ensure that we provide you with the highest quality wedding video.  Sometimes that means using lights.  The most common use is during the reception.  Many private venues in Hawaii are romantically lit (dark).  We will use lights so that your video quality is crisp and clean.  We understand that you want romantic lighting, so we only use the lights when needed and turn them off when not required.

For photos, we use an on camera flash during the reception if it’s too dark for high quality images without it.

DO YOU INCLUDE DRONE FOOTAGE?

If it is legal, weather permitting, and you have enough time in your "day of" schedule, we will use one of our drones to shoot some aerial footage for your highlight video or photos. We do not charge you extra!

HOW LONG AFTER THE WEDDING DO I GET MY SHORT FILM?

This can vary, but normally, our turn around time is 6-10 weeks for the short film. The final films will be delivered via an online link that you can share with your friends and family. The video will be sent online through a file sharing application such as google drive. If discussed beforehand we can upload to our YouTube and Facebook channel and you can share the video with loved ones from there. At your request a physical USB can be mailed to you directly with your short film. RAW or unedited videos may also sent to you at an additional charge. DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU AND THE TEAM?

If my team and I are working for more than 4 hours than yes!

HOW DO I PAY?

We’re flexible, but you can pay with check, cash, Vemno, PayPal or Credit Card (3% fee added with card).

WHAT WILL YOU WEAR ON MY WEDDING DAY?

We will be in plain dark colored clothes or black. Bright colors reflect light and we don’t want to take images and wonder why your white wedding dress is glowing red while we edit haha. We will also wear comfortable shoes or depending on the conditions (typically the beach) will go barefoot.

Once you’ve decided that we’re the best fit for you or if you're just interested, email us so we can create a custom package for you. If you feel a connection to our work, we would love to get to know you! Contact us today! After we hear from you, we'll set up a phone call.  If possible, we’d also love to meet up with you face to face.  During this initial consultation, we mostly get to know each other and see if we are a good fit.  We will also talk through some details about you, your fiancé and your wedding plans.  This will allow us to decide on the right package and options to best tell your story.
